Nvidia's share price witnessed a heavy sell-off on Friday as the Nvidia stock tumbled to the tune of 10 percent in the last session of the week gone by. The Nasdaq-listed stock opened lower at $831.50 apiece on Friday and went on to touch an intraday low of $756.06 per share during Friday deals, logging an intraday loss of 10.70 percent on Friday.

HDFC Bank on April 20 reported a net profit of Rs 16,511 crore for the January-March quarter of the financial year 2023-24, marking a 0.84 percent jump compared to Rs 16,373 crore clocked in the previous quarter. The net profit is almost in line the market estimates of Rs 16,576 crore. The bank’s year-on-year financial results are not comparable due to the merger with the parent entity HDFC Ltd.

HDFC Bank on Saturday said its Board of Directors at a meeting has recommended a dividend of ₹19.50 per equity share of Re. 1/- each fully paid up (i.e. 1950 %) out of the net profit for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024. The company has fixed May 10, 2024 as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders entitled to receive the dividend.
