Meesho Founders facing a police probe in alleged fake luxury goods case

Meesho founders, Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal are facing a police probe over allegations of retailing fake products on its online marketplace of resellers. A resident in Lucknow filed the first information report (FIR) at the city's Wazirganj police station on January 24, 2021. He alleged that the platform sold counterfeit Rolex watches and GUCCI apparel on their site.

Nestle India share price gained as much as 3.01% to ₹2,518.95 apiece on the BSE.According to a stock exchange filing, about 70.8% of public shareholders of Nestle India voted against the company’s proposal to increase royalty payments.
