Cochin airport becomes pioneer in initiating hydropower project in India

Cochin international airport became the first in the country to start a Rs 52cr hydropower station. The power plant with an annual power generation capacity of 14 million units will be commissioned on November 6 at Arippara near Kozhikode. It will be fed to the Kerala State Electricity Board grid in the first week of November. CIAL has constructed a weir across Iruvazhinji river for the project.

It manufactures various types of steering wheels for the Indian market and supplies to a diverse set.
