Annapurna Finance secures $20 mn from Germany-based DEG

A Germany-based development finance institution, DEG – Deutsche Investitions – und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, is invesitng $20 million (Rs 150 crore) equity investment in the Odisha-based NBFC-MFI Annapurna Finance on November 25. The raised funds would be diverted to expand the financial inclusion objectives, thereby getting more women borrowers in rural India into the formal finance ecosystem.
